Installing an APK [ANDROID 9.x]

I'm unable to test extensively, so these instructions are relatively basic. Please ask the Discord server for additional help or submit in-depth instructions to us in line with the other exploits here.
- Ensure the TV box is connected to the same network as the device you plan to use as an ADB client.
- Turn on developer mode
- Enable USB debugging
- Install platform tools for your PC.
- There are third party apps for Android/iOS devices that will work as an ADB client, however platform tools is the safest option.
- Login to your router’s configuration page and locate the device (named Technicolor CH USA Inc.)
- Alternatively, press the red button on the eLifeON home screen
- Scroll to Ethernet or WiFi (depends on your connection type)
- Find the local IPv4 address (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx)
ADB command syntax may vary. Do research if unsure.
- Use
adb connectfollowed by the local IPv4 address- This may result in an error on the client. If the TV box displays a prompt, clicking Allow will likely resolve this issue upon retrying.
- Install an APK using
adb installfollowed by the relative path of the desired APK on the client- Try dragging the apk file into your terminal. Many terminal emulators will automatically input the path for you.
Installing a launcher as the first program is recommended.
The TV box may soft reset if left connected to the modem.
